Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a continuous injection molding machine which can improve the production capacity with simplified construction by closing the cavity port of a mold immediately after completing an injection molding and retaining the closed state to cool it so as to thereby shorten the molding step.
CONSTITUTION: When upper and lower molds tightened at clamp E are fed to an injection molding section A and molten metal is injected into the cavity in the mold, a manifold 4 is immediately slightly floated from both mold rows 2, 2 upon retarding of an injection cylinder 5 to thereby close the cavity port 3 by the seal 7 of the manifold 4. This state is retained, and the molds are moved to a cooling section B even if the molten metal in the cavity is not yet sufficiently hardened. The molds are cooled at the section B in the state that the respective cavity ports 3 are closed by sealers 8 integrated with the seals 7 to thus gradually harden the molten metal in the cavity. Accordingly, it can transfer the molds from the completion of injection to the cooling section in short time.
