Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the operation stability and security of generator by classifying the operation status of generator into plural modes of revolution-increasing, parallel- operation, light-load and heavy-load, and by inducing the optimum auxiliary signals necessary for the operation of each mode.
CONSTITUTION: Operation statuses of generator, to which electric power is supplied from the power system, are classified into: No.1 (revolution-increasing) where its revolution is below the scheduled value N1, No.2 (parallel-operation status) where its revolution is above the scheduled value N1, No.3 (light-load status) where its load is below the scheduled value W1, and No.4 (heavy-load status) where its load is above the scheduled value W1. At the operation mode No.1, revolution speed signal ΔN is furnished to the generator's exciter circuit; at the mode No.2, either the revolution speed signal ΔN or voltage deviation signal ΔV is furnished; at the mode No.3, the voltage deviation signal ΔN is given; and at the mode No.4, the voltage deviation signal ΔV and the auxiliary signal for stabilization Δω is furnished to the generator's exciter circuit.
