Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a drying and burning efficiency, by effectively utilizing radiant heat in a combustion chamber, and also to increase a contact-with-air efficiency and enable a complete burning, by agitating and crushing objects to be burned.
CONSTITUTION: A tubular fire bed 1 being vertically installed at a middle part of a combustion chamber 2 is rotated by a drive reduction gear 4 through the medium of a chain 5 and a roller 3. Agitating parts 6, at the inside of which air chambers 6a are provided, are placed at equal intervals on an outer circumference surface of the rotating fire bed 1, and air injection holes 7 are bored in both side walls of the air chamber. A cross partition plate 8 is placed at the inside of the rotating fire bed 1, and piping 12 is provided so that air can be fed from a blower 11 to the respective chambers 4 partitioned by the plate 8. In the meantime, a feed port 14 for waste water sludge is provided at a side wall 2a of the combustion chamber 2, and a feeding pusher 17 is located below a hopper 15 connected to the feed port 14. Furthermore, an inclining and stationary fire bed 18 is installed below the rotating fire bed 1 at the inside of the combustion chamber 2.
