Abstract

PURPOSE: To form magnetic latent images surely in a magnetic recording medium by forming magnetic fields even with the magnetic material opposing to a write head thereby performing magnetization of magnetic power strongly at the time of magnetizing the magnetic powder of the magnetic recording medium with the write head.
CONSTITUTION: A belt 2 of a magnetic recording medium formed in endless belt form is wound to a drive roller 3, heating roller 5 and rollers 4, 6 thru 8. An erase and cleaning roller 9 is provided opposedly to the roller 5 and a write head 10 is provided between the rollers 5 and 6. A magnetic material 12 which is being energized by a spring 20 is provided in opposition to the write head 10 with the belt 2 in-between, in the upper part of this write head 10. The intensity of the magnetic field of this magnetic material 21 is the extent of not causing magnetic toner 16 to be attracted even if the magnetic powder of the belt 2 is magnetized. Thereby, the magnetic powder may be strongly magnetized even if the magnetization by the wire head 10 is weak.
