Abstract
PURPOSE: To realized an improved signal recording system whlich uses effectively the recording medium by altering the using quantity of the recording medium per unit time in accordance with presence or absence of the input signal.
CONSTITUTION: For the signals to be recorded to core memory 7, the digital signals converted from the analog input signal waveform via A/D converter 2 are recorded directly for the period from the time earlier by delay time t2 than time when the high-speed instantaneous phenomenon is caused until the lapse of fixed period t3. And in greater part t5 of the period during which other high-speed instantaneous phenomenon is not caused, the sampling is given for recording by the sampling signal featuring sampling interval t4' which is 10 times as long as sampling interval t1 of the sampling signal of converter 2. Thus if the correspondence is secured to the recording signal featuring the sampling interval recorded independently, the compressed part can be converted to the real time. As a result, the recording medium can be used effectively.
