Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A feed for breeding snails and sea urchins, e.g. fish meal, a soybean cake, or rice bran, is mixed with 5W30% wt.% of gluten, preferably wheat gluten, then with water, and kneaded to give a mass, which is formed into a thin film by rollers. The film is heat-treated at 90°C or above, and dried, and if necessary reinforced with cloth of coarse mesh, e.g. victoria lawn, paper, or plastic.
