Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate internal stress of hollow container and mold the container with less shrinkage and with highly accurate dimensions by providing a conducter layer on the inside of a metal mold body and heating for a short period of time the hollow container after blowing. CONSTITUTION:While a metal mold body 1 is constantly cooled through 10-20 deg.C water at a cooling water passage 4, a preform heat-adjusted is set in the mold and the preform is blown. After blowing a blowing pressure in the container is maintained and the container is attached to an electrically conducting layer 3 fixed on the body 1 through an insulating layer 2, electrified and heated at 60-250 deg.C and for 1-15 seconds to eliminate the internal stress of the container. Then after an electric flow into the conducting layer 3 stops, the layer 3 and the container are cooled after several seconds by the mold body 1 constantly cooled to take out the container.
