Abstract

PURPOSE:To carry out good molding of a parison by a method wherein a temp. adjustable core for adjusting temp. of the parison in a wall thickness direction is withdrawn from the inside of a parison cylinder and an orienting blow core is inserted into said parison to carry out orienting blow molding. CONSTITUTION:A parison P is fixed to a holder 1 and the inner wall of the parison P is heated or cooled by a temp. adjustable core 2 as well as the parison P is slightly elongated. The temp. of the parison directly before orienting blow molding is set to a temp. higher than secondary transition temp. and the temp. is set in such a manner that, as the wall thickness of the parison is made thin by orienting blow, heat is discharged and, as temp. is lowered, said temp. is approached to secondary transition region.
