Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase greatly the tuning range of the oscillation frequency by using the parallel microreactance for the impedance matching between the oscillation element and the load side.
CONSTITUTION: Oscillation element 7 and varactor diode 11 are connected to repeating conductor pattern 10 via thin wires 8 and 9. Conductor pattern 40 is formed on dielectric substrate 39, and one end of diode 11 is connected to the end part of line 40. The end part of line 40 is earthed by short lead wires 37 and 38 which form the parallel reactance and via capacitance 42 formed by chip-shaped capacitors 35 and 36. As a result, the impedance matching circuit approximate to the lumped constant is formed between element 7 and the load side, thus increasing greatly the tuning range of the oscillation frequency.
