Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a plane wave lens featuring no diffused reflection within the lens over a wide band and the excellent characteristics by using the lamination substrate which is planked with the conductive plates on both surfaces. CONSTITUTION:Thin copper film 7 is stuck to glass plate 6 to form lens border lines UV and JK. Feeder terminals 4-1-4-n and receiver terminals 5-1-5-n are provided at the side of line UV and line JK each to be then linked to the border lines respectively. Feeder element lead-in parts 2-1-2-n and receiver element lead- out parts 3-1-3-n are formed into a born shape each, and the linkage direction is set on the radial lines centering on intersections O1 and O2 between lens center line X and the JK/UV lines. Wedge-shaped unnecessary wave lead-in parts 10 and 11 are formed at the circumference area of the lens with magnetic wave absorber plate 12 adhered close on the upper surfaces of parts 10 and 11 each. Thus parts 10 and 11 are covered with plate 12 from the tip to the root, and as a result the unnecessary electromagnetic waves can be absorbed and attenuated easily. Accordingly, the diffused reflection is prevented at that area, securing the excellent transmission characteristics over the entire band.
