Abstract

PURPOSE:To minimize colgging on liquid injection head by passing liquid fine particles in the air in which colored solid fine particles are suspended and allowing solid particles to stick on liquid particles to printing on recording paper. CONSTITUTION:Water is fed in an injection head 1 of field on-demand type. Then a high-tension pulse is applied between a face plate forming a nozzle hole 2 therein and an accelerating electrode ring 3 to bring forth drop fine particles charged in the ratio of 1 drop to 1 pulse, which are allowed to fly in the direction of chamber 4. On the other hand, the air including toner powder is blown into a suction pipe 5 slowly, and the toner powder is left suspending in the chamber 4. After the drop fine particles are colored through having the toner powder dissolved thereon, the colored drop particles are deflected at the field between deflecting electrodes 91 and 92 and come into collision with a recording paper 10. EFFECT:The injection head can be cleaned simply, and normal paper is serviceable for recording.
