Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit the freezing and thawing treatment of sludge rich in solids and also of low fluidity by smoothening the supply of sludge without the need for difficult control by unifying hollow portions into which nonfilterable sludge is forced.
CONSTITUTION: Refrigerator is flowed from the inner tube a of a double tube at the inlet 11a into the first inside and outside chambers 15a and 16a and then directed to the outside from the outlet 11b through the outer tube b, during which original sludge in a portion in contact with the chambers 15a and 16a inside the hollow body 14 is frozen.
