Abstract

PURPOSE: Heat exchange plates specified in structure are used to enhance operation characteristic in evaporation.
CONSTITUTION: A heat exchange plate 1 is provided with protruded sections 2 in the same direction and equally spaced P along the longituidinal direction. Such plate a-d, are arranged to form heating space A, vapor space B and feed space C. The plates a,d,c,b, which construct the space B and C are arranged so that the protrusions 2 are faced each other and contact the plates. The plates d,c of the space B are provided at their lower section with holes 4 through which evaporating liquid is jetted from the feed space C. This construction is favorably compared with an impulse jet type one because of reduced power consumption and accelerated nucleation boiling at lower section where boiling is otherwise difficult due to liquid depth pressure.
