Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure generation of the high-power pulses featuring different pulse duration by providing the pulse generator comprising the semiconductor switch array controlled by the control unit and several pulse networks. CONSTITUTION:Switch 2 is connected in parallel to power source part 1 and load 6, and the electric energy is discharged simultaneously with arrival of the trigger pulse. Pulse generator 3 is connected between switch 2 and load 6 and then switched by the relay circuit. Here delay circuit 4 is added to switch 2 to delay the trigger pulse and also form the pulse formation circuit along with the monostable mutivibrator. On the other hand, control unit 5 receives the trigger pulse and then gives a sequential selection to several pulse netwerks featuring different pulse duration, comprising another monostable multivibrator, the sequence generation circuit and the gate circuit each. Furthermore, the semiconductor switch array controlled by unit 5 is installed along with generator 3 consisting of several pulse networks. Thus the high- power pulses featuring the fdifferent pulse duration can be generated.
