Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize reduction of the spurious by earthing at least one piece of the electrode finger of the multi-strip coupler and then suppressing the direct-reaching waves. CONSTITUTION:Input/output transducer 11 and 12 are installed so taht their transmission lines may not overlap each other, and electrode fingers 14-20 are distributed on piezoelectric substance 10 in parallel to each other and with a proper space between. Now transducer 11 is excited with application of the signal waves, and thus the surface wave propagates in right-angled direction A to the electrode finger and along the surface of substance 10 to reach multi-strip coupler 13 for excitaion. The excited surface wave propagates in direction B and reaches transducer 12. Thus the output voltage is drawn out of terminal 25 and 26. In this case, at least one piece of the electrode finger of coupler 13 is earthed to suppress the direct-reaching waves, thus reducing the spurious.
