Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of an abnormal voltage at a common terminal in the opening condition of a switch by establishing a short-circuit between the common terminals when the abnormal voltage may be happened in the common terminal of an auto-transformer.
CONSTITUTION: In the junction point of a switch 7 with auto-transformer 6, 5 and 4, a device 8 for establishing a short-circuit between the termnals is provided when at least one abnormal voltage may be occurred. According to the short-circuit device 8 is used for an arrestor element wherein its one end is connected to the common terminals and its other end is grounded for a short-circuit.
