Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a method of the dry denitration, wherein a dry exhaust gas flow rate is determined indrectly, and the amount of NOx is computed by multipling the dry exhaust gas flow rate by the NOx content, so that the feed of NH3 may be controlled relatively inexpensively and positively.
CONSTITUTION: Gas proceeds to a coke oven 1, a blower 2, a heat-up apparatus 3, a reactor 4 and a stack 5. To a dry gas operation portion 15 are fed the values of O2 content, total amount of dry COG and factor of exhaust gas to calculate the total amount of dry exhaust gas which in turn is fed to a NH3 feed operation portion 16. Further, the value of NOx content in the exhaust gas which will be analyzed by a NOx analyzer 14 is fed to the NH3 feed operation portion 16. At the operation portion 16, the total amount of NOx in the exhaust gas will be calculated and then the optimum feed amount of NH3 will be calculated. The value of this feed amount of NH3 is fed to a comparation setter 19 through a hold amplifier 18 to deliver a signal to an adjusting vlave 11.
