Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the amount of noxious components and smoke contained in the exhaust gas and to improve startability of engine, by controlling fuel injection apporpriately through provision of a microcomputor, control valves, hydraulically operated means and hydraulic pump.
CONSTITUTION: Hydraulically operated means 5 is connected via piping to hydraulic pump 4 and also connected to control rack 3 by means of linkage 8. Various factors indicating the operational condition of engine are afforded to microcomputor 7. Control valves 6 are opened and closed in response to the signal derived from said various factors indicating the operational condition of engine, which is furnished from microcomputor 7. Through the control valves 6, hydrulic oil is supplied to means 5 by hydraulic pump 4 so that control rack 3 is shifted to an optimal position. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to improve response characteristics, to reduce the amount of noxious components and smoke contained in the exhaust gas, to reduce noises, and to improve startability and other performance of engine.
