Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the recording and reproducing for the high-density vertical magnetized recording signal with high output, by providing the high-permeability part at the opposite side to the magnetic head on the recording medium such as the magnetic tape or the like and thus forming the closed magnetic path of the magnetic head-recording medium-high-permeability part. CONSTITUTION:Coil 2 is wound round U-shaped magnetic head core 1 and then put close to magnetic tape 3. Tape 3 is composed of recording medium layer 4, high-permeability layer 5 composed of the high-permeability material such as the permalloy or the like, and film layer 6 each, and runs in the arrow direction. Figure 8 shows the main record signal which received the vertical magnetization recording onto layer 4; while 9 means the secondary record signal magnetized in the opposite direction. The closed magnetic paths in the directions of arrows 8, 10, 9 and 11 passing through magnetic head 1 - layer 4 - layer 5 are formed. As a result, a large voltage is generated based on the time change of the large magnetic flux and with running of tape 3. Thus the high-density magnetic recording and reproducing become possible with high output.
