Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain high purified degree by a method wherein an interior of a rotary cylinder is separated concentrically into two or more of areas and microorganisms displaying capacity effectively to each area respectively corresponding to a pollution degree of a sewage are used.
CONSTITUTION: Around a rotary shaft, one or more of a cylindrical wall 4 is provided concentrically therewith to spearate an interior of the cylinder into two or more of chambers and, in an inner most chamber 9 of said cylinder, a net like or a porous filler to which naturally occurring microorganisms or bacteria with high capacity for primary treatment are attached is filled and, according to direct to an outside chamber successibely, a filler material adhered with another bacteria for high order treatment is filled in an outside chamber 14 and a flow passage is provided so as to flow the treated water to an outer side chamber successively. Raw water is flowed into from a line 11 and subjected to the contact treatment in an internal space 12, a primary treating chamber 9 and, thereafter, entered into a storage chamber 13 for the primarily treated waste water and, herein, subjected to the secondary treatment in a secondary treating chamber 14. The treated water is exhausted from a flooding exhaust pipe 16.
