Abstract
PURPOSE:To automate a distortion eliminating unit, by obtaining an autocorrelation signal of the signal which is subjected to multiple propagation path distortion and by inspecting the property of the correlation signal and by rewriting the correlation signal, which is stored in a waveform memory, on a basis of this inspection result. CONSTITUTION:The receiving signal is input to correlator 1 through signal converting circuit 9. Circuit 9 performs the signal processing without loss of the law of superposition of the signal. Input signal S(t) of correlator 1 is sampled in the section of NT and is stored in waveform memory 2 as sample values Si(i O-N). Correlation operating circuit 3 calculates successively sample values phiR(R O-N) of autocorrelation signal phi(t) in section NT of S(t) on a basis of data of Si. Comparing circuit 5 compares the value of phiO with threshold level A determined previously. Comparing circuit 6 compares constant B with the value of R at the time when phiR becomes phiO/2. In case of phiO>=A and nW<B, contents of the waveform memory are rewritten by data phiR.
