Abstract
PURPOSE:To carry likelihood ratio calculation out by evaluating an autocorrelation function from sample values of one autocorrelation and then by finding parameter beta (parameter in case that autocorrelation function R(tau) of a noise approximates curve R(O)exp(-betagamma)). CONSTITUTION:The product of observation value Y(t) from a sensor and input delay signal YD(t) is calculated by correlation calculating circuit 6 by integrating for constant time Tw to obtain value S(t). Here, Tw represents the updated time interval of beta. Power calculating circuit 5 finds the square value of Y(t) by integrating for a time width of Tw (The found value is denoted as P(t).). Then, beta calculating circuit 8 finds the value of beta(t) when curve y=exp(-beta(t).x) reaches point (tau(t), S(t)/P(t)). Next, beta(t) is sent to likelihood ratio calculating circuit 9 and used there as parameter beta of a likelihood ratio calculation expression. Lastly, tau calculating circuit 7 finds an intersection between curve (y) and straight line y=0.2 to obtain tau(t+Tw).
