Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide optimal control of air fuel ratio for an internal combustion engine, by comparing a signal from an exhaust sensor with a reference value and further comparing the deviation with a current value for flowing a preset current from outside and then interrupting feedback in accordance with the deviation.
CONSTITUTION: Output signal from an exhaust sensor 3 of an exhaust pipe 2 is compared with a preset reference value, and a fuel controller is actuated through a control circuit 5 in accordance with the deviation to optimize the air fuel ratio of an engine 1. Signals from detecting circuits 8, 9, 10 for starting, load and revolution are put in a reference value generating circuit 12 and upper limit comparator 12 to interrupt feedback control of the control circuit 5. Signal from a current circuit 15 for flowing variable current in accordance with running conditions is put in the control circuit 5 through a lower limit comparator 21 to provide feedback control in accordance with the lower limit.
