Abstract

PURPOSE:To carry out a contact reaction between a fluid and a gas in good efficiency by a method wherein a beam is horizontally provided between plural pairs of supporting member provided to an upper side portion in packed tower with a certain degree of freedom and a distributor is horizontally supported by hanging to the above described beam to equalize fluid distribution. CONSTITUTION:In the packed tower 1 arranging a distributor 30 to an upper portion thereof within the tower, plural pairs of supporting member 14, 15 are fixed and provided parallel to a diametrical direction to a wall surface 1a of an upper predetermined height in the tower in a horizontally opposed manner at a predetermined interval and, between each supporting elements 14, 15, an I beam 10 is bridged with a certain degree of feedom by forming attaching holes 14a, 14b, 15a, 15b of the supporting elements and attaching holes 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b of the I beam 10 as a slot and, after each beam 10 is horizontally adjusted, fixed to said support elements, 14, 15. Thereafter, a distributor 30 is horizontally supported by contacting an upper end surface of said distributor 30 to an under surface of the beam 10 and a gas-liquid contact reaction is efficiently carried out.
