Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the liquid proof performance by employing an epi-vis type epoxy resin, a reactive dilutive agent and a hardened complex circular diamine as a sealant. CONSTITUTION:An anode agent 1 mainly composed of silver oxcide powder is contained in an anode can 4, while a separator 3 having a liquid holding layer and a cathode agent 2 mainly composed of zinc powder are provided. Then it is covered with a cathode can 5 applied with a packing 6 at the outer circumferential edge section 5' and sealed to produce a button type cell. When sealing a sealant layer 7 is coated previously at the contacting face between said edge section 5' and the packing 6. The sealant of said sealant layer 7 is composed of epi-vis type epoxy resin, a reactive diluent where polyethylene glycol is glycidyl ethered and a hardened complex circular diamine. The amount of reactive diluent is preferable to be in the range of 10-80wt% for the epoxy resin.
