Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure the excitation of the elastic surface wave only in one direction, by disposing asymmetrically the coupling roller-screen type electrode to both sides of the exciting roller-screen type electrode each and the securing then mutual electric coupling between these coupling roller-screen type electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The 1st coupling roller-screen type electrode 2 is provided at the left of exciting roller-screen electrode 1, and the second coupling roller-screen type electrode 3 is installed at the right of electrode 1 each. The different spaces L1 and L2 are secured between electrode 1 and electrodes 2 and 3 each, and electrodes 2 and 3 are disposed asymmetrically to each other. At the same time, electrodes 2 and 3 are connected electrically via lines 4 and 5, and the electric signal is applied between electrode 1 and terminals 6 and 7 each. And the different value is secured for the coupling loss caused by electrode 1 against electrodes 2 and 3 each. Thus the excitation is made possible to either one of electrodes 2 and 3, and the excitation of the elastic surface wave of only one way is carried out through setting of spaces L1 and L2.
