Abstract
PURPOSE: To accomplish automatic compensation for the temperature change in the fluid by means of a feed back circuit including division circuits provided on the flow velocity measuring apparatus employing heated thermistor.
CONSTITUTION: A thermistor Th1 for measuring flow velocity and a thermistor Th2 for measuring temperature are placed into the fluid to be measured. The thermistor Tw1 generates heat by itself to develop voltages V1 and V2 across the resistance R1. The voltage V1 undergoes the division DV1 and the subtraction SUB while the voltage V2 undergoes the division DV2. The two outputs are multiplied to obtain the voltage proportional to the power consumption of the thermistor Th1 for measuring flow velocity. The voltage is substituted for the flow velocity and outputted. The division circuit DIV determines the voltage proportional to the resistance value of the thermistor Th1 and the current flowing through the thermistor Th1 for measuring flow velocity, namely, heating temperature is controlled with the voltage from the preamplifier Pr2 as the reference. Thus, the temperature change in the fluid can be automatically compensated for.
