Abstract

PURPOSE: To selectively separation-collect specified metals from a soln. contg. plural kinds of metal ions in high concn. in a short time by treating the soln. with a condensation product of higher fatty acid and polyamine to separate a complex of low solubility and bubbling the remaining soln.
CONSTITUTION: To a soln. contg. two or more kinds of heavy metal ions, etc. in a concn. of 0.05wt% or more is added a metal treating agent such as a condensation product of higher fatty acid and triamine, e.g., N-decanoyldiethylenetriamine hydrochloride. By suitably adjusting the pH the agent shows the action of selectively separating heavy metals to precipitate a metal complex of low solubility. After separation-removing the complex the remaining soln. is bubbled by blowing air or the like, and a solid precipitated is collected together with bubbles. By this method Ni, Co, V and Mo can be separation-recovered almost thoroughly from the soln.
