Abstract
PURPOSE: To dry mosquito-repellent incenses, etc., economically, independent of weather and the season, by placing the incenses, etc. in a closed drying room maintained at a constant temperature, and circulating dried air with a blower and a dehumidifier.
CONSTITUTION: Articles to be dried (e.g. mosquito-repellent incent, leather, fish, seeds, etc.) are placed on a rack B, and the racks are stacked on the floor 3 of a closed drying room 1 maintained at a constant temperature. Air is sent forward with blowers 6 to evaporate the moisture in the article to be dried. The moistened air is split into two streams at the front part of the room, and circulated to the back of the room with blowers 7. The air is dried with dehumidifiers A, and sent forward with the blowers 6.
EFFECT: In contrast with drying in the sun, this process can be carried out at an arbitrary time, without troubles of ill-odor emission and environmental pollution, and gives uniformly dried product. The necessary working space is about 1/5 of that of the conventional air-drying, and the man-power is also considerably reduced.
