Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a multiplex signal transmitter-receiver which can detect abnormality of a transmitter-receiver easily by obtaining many signal waveform voltages synchronizing with a polyphase AC power source and then by selectively transmitting them. CONSTITUTION:Three-phase AC power waveforms A, B and C are applied to terminals 2, 3 and 4 and waveforms A, D, B, E, C and F appear at terminals 8-13 on the secondary side of a transformer. Those waveforms are applied to diode matrix 15 to obtain triangular waves V1, V4, V2, V5, V3 and V6 as six kinds of positive and negative signal waveform voltages shown by slanting lines at output terminals 16-18. One of or a few triangular waves mentioned above are selected by selection switch 52 and, after the high-frequency modulation of transmitting circuit 59, are sent out to transmission line 84. A receiving circuit which is not shown in the figure receives signals by collating triangular waves generated in the same method. Further, the time interval between zero points of each signal waveform exceeds a fixed value, it is regarded as abnormality of the unit.
