Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain recording picture of high quality without using a buffer memory by comparing the transmission equivalent time for every scanning line to the recording needed time and by controlling the frequency of repetitive recording of this scanning line. CONSTITUTION:A coded facsimile signal sent from a transmission side is temporarily stored in buffer memory 11. A signal for one scanning segment read out from memory 11 is decoded by decoder 12 and transmission equivalent time detection part 13 calculates the transmission equivalent time. On the other hand, a signal for one scanning segment decoded by decoder 12 is temporarily stored in either line memory 16a or 16b by way of recording needed time detection part 14. At this time, detection part 14 detects the recording time, which is compared to the transmission equivalent time by repetition frequency deciding circuit 15. Then when the transmission time is not less than twice the recording time, alternation switches 17a and 17b of a control circuit are changed over to read twice signals stored in memory 16b, for example, and recriding part 18 takes a main scan twice.
