Abstract
PURPOSE: To promote the strength and rigidity of this wheel, and to facilitate manufacture, by forming left-and-right two discoid bodies constituting two-split rims with synthetic resin so that the inner circumferential portions each be expanded to the outsides while connecting the inner circumferential portions of this each discoid body to a hub.
CONSTITUTION: This wheel is formed in such a manner that each discoid body 1 of two-split rims 2 is made up with synthetic resin in order that the inner circumferntial portions each be expanded to the outsides and the inner circumferential portions of this each discoid body 1 are connected to a hub 10. Thus, the sections of spoke portions 5 are built up in approximate triangle shapes, and the strength and rigidity of the wheel are remarkably improved in spite of light weight. Manufacture becomes easy because the shapes of each discoid body 1 are simple. Consideration regarding corrosion is eliminated because the rims 2 and the spoke portions 5, which are partcularly easy to rust in the case when the wheel is made of metal, are manufactured with synthetic resin.
