Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a weight greatly and a load applied on the lower area of a cushion by using a fiber reinforcing resin to shape a wheel rim.
CONSTITUTION: A wheel rim 1 is shaped by using a fiber reinforcing resin of glass fiber or the like which is hardened by use of a resin. A rise 4 running as a ring is offered at the center of the inner face of the wheel rim 1 in the circumferential direction. A ring groove 5 extends along the inner circumference of the wheel rim 1. The ring groove 5 consists of a wide tire seating stage 5a running along the ring of the circumference and a ring shaped center groove 5b running on the center of the stage 5a in the circumferential direction. Many half-spherical holes 6 are made in the bottom of the center groove 5a. Nipple fitting hole 7 opening to the inner face of the wheel rim 1 and the half-spherical hole 6 are made in the bottom of the rise 4.
