Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a through rate characteristics by driving the output stage, which performs the class B operation, of a power amplifying circuit by a transistor which constitutes the emitter-grounded circuit which performs the class A push-pull operation. CONSTITUTION:Impedance of the output stage of the class B operation at the view from the A part of power amplifying circuit 2 lowers the value according to frequency increment of the input signal due to the influence of the cutoff frequency of transistors (TRs)22 and 23 of the final stage, and the simplified equivalent circuit becomes a parallel circuit of a resistance and a capacity; and when a unit current is flowed to drive it at time t0, the output voltage increases in exponential function, and thus, it is detected that the through rate characteristic of circuit 2 is dependent upon instantaneous current supply capability from the preceding stage. Therefore, a high through rate of approximately 1kV/muV can be obtained by driving circuit 2 by TR18, 19 which constitute the emitter-grounded circuit which performs the class A push-pull operation. In this case, since circuit 2 is weak for DC drift and a bias circuit is required, private voltage amplifying circuit 1 is connected.
