Abstract
PURPOSE: To accurately measure a voltage of a high-voltage conductor only, by inserting an insulating material, the permittivity of which is higher than that of a surrounding insulating medium, between a high-voltage conductor of each phase and an electrostatic coupling electrode being opposed each other, to carry out phase devision.
CONSTITUTION: Three-phase high-voltage conductors 3, 4, 5 are housed in a sealed metal container 1 in a three-phase combined type SF6 gas insulating electric machine. Taking an electrostatic coupling electrode 9 as an example, a specific permittivity of an insulating material 6 inserted between the electrode 9 and the U-phase high-voltage conductor 3 can be increased nearly ten times that of an SF6 gas 2 if the insulating material 6 is made of a mixture consisting of a substance of a high specific permittivity, such as strontium titanate added to epoxy resin. Accordingly, the influence of electrostatic induction from high-voltage conductors of phases other than U-phase can be ignored. Therefore, when a voltage obtained by the voltage division of a capacitance between the high-voltage conductor 3 and the electrostatic coupling electrode 9 and a capacitance of a capacitor 12 is amplified by a high input impedance amplifier 15, a voltage of the high-voltage conductor 3 can be displayed on a meter 18. The same applies to the high-voltage conductors of V-phase and W-phase.
