Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the fuel ratio, by blowing air above a specified temperature, and blowing the fuel so as to maintain the tuyere end temperature above a specified temperature. CONSTITUTION:In a blast furnace operated by blowing fuel such as fuel oil, tar, Co gas and CO2 gas from tuyere end and removing moisture content from blast at the same time, air is blown at 1350 deg.C, and the furnace is operated at the fuel blowing rate enough to maintain the tuyere end temperature above 2500 deg.C. To supply hot air above 1350 deg.C, in each hot stove system of parallel hot stove operation, the preceding stove (low humidity stove) of parallel operation is always ventilated at full opening and succeeding stove (high temperature stove) is ventilaged at regulated temperature when operating the furnace by successively changing over by two- stove parallel blowing of unmixed cold air, and the combustion exhaust gas temperature is controlled, and the heat accumulation of all stoves is controlled by the exhaust gas temperature by heat accumulation division, so that the amount of heat accumulation in all stoves may be set uniform.
