Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a lead wire from being broken or damaged, and flash from occurring, during the molding of a motor, by attaching to a fixed core a protector having an outlet for a lead wire, and holding the protector between abutting portions of resin molds so as to carry out a resin-molding forming work. CONSTITUTION:A protector 5 having a support portion 7 provided with an outlet 8 for a lead wire, and a mount portion 6 is prepared. The protector 5 is inserted at the mount portion 6 into a recess 4 provided in the outer circumferential surface of a fixed core 2, to be firmly set therein. A lead wire is inserted into the outlet 8. The support portion 7 of the protector 5 is then held between upper and lower molds 20, 21 for use in molding a resin, to carry out a resin-molding operation. Thus, the lead wire can be prevented from being broken or damaged during the molding of a resin. Also, flash which occur due to the leakage of a resin, can be prevented from occurring.
