Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the abrasion of a pump and raise the generated pressure and the output by bringing an eccentric rotor into contact with a casing and a blade through the intermediary of a ring and thereby reducing drastically the friction velocity.
CONSTITUTION: The device is formed so that an accentric rotor 5 is brought into contact with a casing 2 and a blade 1 through the intermediary of a ring 4. The eccentric rotor 5 is thus fitted with the ring 4, while the outer periphery of the ring 4 performs a rolling movement along the inner periphery of the casing 2 in proportion to the rotation of the rotor 5, thereby the friction velocity being reduced drastically and only the rolling resistance being left. Moreover, the direction of the friction at the part where the outer periphery of the ring 4 is kept in contact with the blade 1 acts in opposition to the direction in which the compression and suction caused by the action of the ring 4 work on the blade 1, which makes the reciprocating movement of the blade 1 smooth. By this, the reduction of abrasion of a rotary pump, the improvement of durability and the increase in the generated pressure are obtained and thus the pump durable to high-speed rotation and capable of generating a high output can be produced.
