Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise the durability, the generated pressure and the output by forming a device so that a ring fitted to an eccentric rotor is connected with a blade and thereby reducing the velocity of the friction between the outer periphery of the ring and the inner periphery of a casing.
CONSTITUTION: An eccentric rotor 3 is fitted with a ring 4 connected with a blade 5, while the outer periphery of the ring 4 performs friction and rolling movements along the inner periphery of a casing 1 in proportion to the rotation of the rotor 3. The friction velocity is the product obtained by multiplying the difference between the inner periphery of the casing 1 and the outer periphery of the ring 4 by the number of rotation of the rotor 3. This is about 1/8 of the existing method and, since the contacting and rolling movement is conducted at the fixed positions on almost all over the outer periphery of the ring 4, it has a merit for maintaining airtightness and also has raised durability. Thus, this method does not require employment of a large quantity of oil for the purpose of maintaining airtightness and high processing precision, while enabling the manufacture of a device of large size and with large output.
