Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the reaction smoothly to be carried out without using water or air, by a method wherein calcium oxide and a hydrated solt are separately accomodated in each vessel and both materials are mixed together before use.
CONSTITUTION: (A) Calcium oxide and (B) a hydrated salt selected from sodium hydrogen-phosphate hydrate, manganese sulfate hydrate, aluminum sulfate hydrate and molybdenum oxide hydrate are separately accomodated in separate vessels. (A) is mixed with (B) at the time of the use of both components. It is preferred to use the hydrate (B) in the maximum-hydrated state. It is also preferred to use the materials (A) and (B) as powders. Particularly, powders having a particle size of not more than 30 mesh are preferable.
