Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve transfer and fusion weld strength of the abrasive applied to the buffing wheel by a method wherein a melted abrasive is tansferred on the high speed buffing wheel surface by conveying on the high pressure air current and solidified quickly by air flow.
CONSTITUTION: One or several kind of animal, plant and mineral oils are mixed and melted, wherein various kind of abrasive stone grains are mixed and agitated to obtain the solid buffing abrasive at room temperature. The abrasive is heated and melted, the melted liquid being carried on the compressed air current to spray and transfer to the high speed buffing wheel surface by means of the spray nozzle to deposit on the buffing wheel surface by cooling and solidifying quickly the transferred abrasive.
