Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate an error due to a transfer in case of using for grinding and guarantee precision machining, by pressing the side of rotary body by means of a fluid to transfer it to the axial direction.
CONSTITUTION: Fluid passages 14, 14', 20, 28 are fitted to a housing around a rotary body 10 which is freely movable to the axial direction. High pressure fluid through the passages and injected from porous units 13, 18, 21 bears the rotary body 10 smoothly revolvable. Other passages 24, 26 of pressurized fluid for transferring the rotary body 10 are communicated with a radial working unit 11, and a two-way valve 28 for the pressurized fluid controls the horizontal transfer of the rotary body 10. The smooth functioning of said revolution and transfer can eliminate the error of the shaft and guarantee precision machining.
