Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the same supporting force as in hammering, without noise and vibration, by a method wherein a steel pipe is inserted in a hole dug in the earth, a pile is inserted under pressure and thus the counter-force against the pile is found in the earth through the intermediary of the steel pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A steel pipe 18 is inserted in a hole made by an earth auger and a high-pressure hose for an leg opening system arranged on a base board 19 is connected with a hydraulit unit, while the base board 19 is supported by an outrigger 22 placed beneath the base board 19. By making the oil pressure of the leg opening system 28 work, an leg open plate 23 is rotated outward and settled in the earth in an engaged state. Then a pile 32 is inserted from the hole of the base board 19 into the steel pipe 18, while a tank 15 is engaged with the upper face of the base board 19. After the cap 7' of a hydraulic jack 7 being fitted on the upper end of the pile 32, the pile 32 is inserted under pressure by operating the hydraulic jack 7. When the insertion is performed, the counter force acts from the tank 15 on to the steel pipe 18 and thus the upward force works, but, since the leg opening plate 23 is engaged in the ground, the tank 15 and the ground is combined together to produce the pressurizing force, thereby the pile 32 is inserted easily without vibration and noise.
