Abstract
PURPOSE: To raise the efficiency of execution of works and attain high accuracy of a basic pile by positioning the pile so that it has a constitution resistive to the lateral pressure in the range where the lateral pressure is unchangeable.
CONSTITUTION: The range A where the lateral pressure is changeable and the range B where the lateral pressure is unchangeable are ascertained beforehand, while a pile 2 is constituted so that it can endure the lateral pressure of gravel 4 in the range B. In addition, the gravel can be thrown in at one operation irrespective of the striking of the concrete in a central hollow part 5. A continuous underground wall is constructed by digging a groove by a clamshell bucket, being guided by the web 9 of the pile 2, and pouring the concrete in the groove.
