Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the factor of error due to mismatching of VBE, by flowing the current having the amplitude to cancell the difference of VBE of the constant current generating transistor due to the difference of the bit current from one end of the R/2R ladder resistor network. CONSTITUTION:The transistors 241, 242 of the correction current generating circuit 24 have the emitter area ratio of 2:1, then the potential difference of DELTAVBE is produced between the emitters. The collector current difference DELTAI of the both transistors by this potential difference is produced on the correction current injection line 25 with the current Miller circuit 243, and when DELTAI is injected to the LSB side end 222 of the ladder resistance network 22, a voltage having the amplitude to cancell DELTAVBE of the constant current generating transistor of the binary weight current generating circuit is added across each lateral resistor R, and binary weight voltage is fed to the longitudinal resistor 2R of the ladder resistor network, allowing to obtain accurate binary weight current even with the same emitter area of the constant current generating transistors.
