PURPOSE:To obtain a small-size and high-sensitivity cylindrical piezo-electric porcelain vibrator by arranging plural electrodes on inside and outside walls of the piezo-electric porcelain cylinder so that they may overlap one another and by dividing and applying a DC voltage between respective electrodes to polarize electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Narrow outside electrodes 11 and 15 divided in the vertical direction for the outside wall of piezoelectric porcelain cylinder 1 are arranged with mutual gap P, and these electrodes and wide outside electrode 13 are arranged with gap Q. For the inside wall, wide outside electrodes 12 and 14 divided in the vertical direction are arranged with mutual gap R so that they may overlap electrodes 11, 13 and 15. The voltage of DC power source E is divided by resistances R1-R4 and is applied to respective piezoelectric porcelain vibrators 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d. Since plural polarized piezoelectric porcelain elements are taken out from the polarizing circuit, receiving sensitivity 4 times as high as the conventional vibrator can be obtained.
