Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize centering by positioning an electromagnet on the basis of a movable iron-core, and to prevent the fixing between the movable iron-core and the main body of a piston from axial loosening by adopting a mutually wedged structure.
CONSTITUTION: When an electromagnet 3 is excited, a piston 6 is attracted backward by the electromagnetic attraction given to a movable iron-core 64, and the periphery of the iron-core 64 is brought into contact with the pole-face. For making this contacting condition unitorm in the whole periphery, the magnet 3 is adjusted and firm fixed on cases 1 and 2. When the electromagnet 3 is excited, the piston 6 is attracted to the right, and air is introduced into a piston chamber 11 via a nonreturn valve 65. When the current to the electromagnet 3 is intercepted, the piston 6 is pushed to the left, abd the air in the piston chamber 11 is exhausted. Since the electromagnet 3 is intermittently and repeatedly excited at fixed periods by means of the half-wave rectification, the piston 6 is repeatedly reciprocated to exhaust the air intermittently.
