Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the distortion rate of an output by providing a current path between the base of one driving transistor Tr of a push-pull PP amplifying circuit and the emitter of the other driving transistor Tr. CONSTITUTION:In a class B PP amplifying circuit, resistance 17 is connected between the emitter of driving Tr3 and the base of driving Tr14, and resistance 18 is connected between the emitter or Tr4 and the base of Tr3. The circuit is so adjsuted by resistance 16 that a proper DC bias current may be flowed to outputs Tr1, 2 when no input signal exist. Therefore, a constant-voltage characteristic is provided across bases A and B of Tr3, 4, and the characteristic across emitters D and E is similar to the characteristic above, and a fixed current is flowed to resistances 17 and 18. Conseqnently, when a positive signal is input, Tr4 is not cut off due to the current flowed to resistance 18 through the current flowed to Tr4 is reduced, and Tr2 is not cut off also. Similarly, when a negative signal is input, Tr3, 1 are not cut off, and switching distortion is prevented from being generated, thus improving the distortion rate.
