Abstract

PURPOSE: Title resin composition that is prepared by adding an isocyanate and a BF3-amine complex, as curing agents, to an opoxy resin, thus being rapidly cured even at relatively low temperatures and giving cured products with good mechanical and electrical properties.
CONSTITUTION: To 100 parts by wt of epoxy resin are added 1W50 parts of a curing agent resulting from mixing 1 mole of BF3-amine complex of the formula (R1, R2, R3 are monofunctional hydrocarbyls where at least one of them is H), such as BF3-mono-n-butylamine or BF3-diphenylamine complex, with 0.5W5 moles of an isocyanate, such as phenyl isocyanate, benzyl isocyanate, hexamethylene diisocyanate, triphenylmethane triisocyanate, thus producing the objective resin composition.
