Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent stress to a motor by providing a phase-locked oscillation-loop circuit, providing parallel-operation period of inverter-voltage operation and line- voltage operation in the case the power supply is switched from the inverter to the commercial power line. CONSTITUTION:When an inverter is actuated and the lower limit of a synchronization switching frequency domain is reached, a signal is outputted from a frequency- synchronization detecting circuit 29. Then, a phase-synchronization detecting circuit 28 begins to operate and chacking is performed with regard to the output of a phase- locked oscillation-loop circuit 21 whose phase and frequency are synchronized with a line power supply in the standby status. When the synchronization has been achieved, CTT2 is turned on through a delay circuit 30, and the inverter and the line power supply are parallelly operated. After the specified period, switching to the line poer supply is made by turning CTT1 off. Therefore, the parallel operation can be performed with the frequencies, phases, and voltages being coincided, and the switching can be accomplished, thereby the stress which might be applied to the motor and the inverter can be eliminated.
